The Wave – Rider Buoy deployed by INCOIS Hyderabad is drifted/ dislocated from Karwar location. Its last location reported by satellite was 80 km off Ratnagiri coast. The Wave – Rider Buoy is useful for providing accurate weather information to the fishermen community.
