Well marked low pressure area lies over south east bay of Bengal and likely to concentrate into a depression over central parts of south bay of Bengal on 15th may and further intensifies into a cyclonic storm over same region by 16th evening. It is likely to move northwestwards initially till 17th May and then re-curve north northeastwards towards North Bay of Bengal on 18th and 19th May. Under its influence squally wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting 65kmph likely to prevail over Southeast and adjoining central southwest Bay of Bengal on 15 May and 55-65 kmph gusting 75 kmph likely over central parts of south and adjoining central bay of Bengal on 16th May. Gale wind speed reaching 70-80 kmph likely over east central and adjoin west-central Bay of Bengal on 17th May. Gale wind 70-80 kmph gusting to 90 kmph over west central and adjoining east central Bay of Bengal on 18th May. Also squally winds 40-50 kmph gusting 60 kmph along and off south Odisha coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into deep sea area of south and central bay of Bengal from 15th May 2020. Those who are out at sea over this region are advised to return from these deep sea areas by tomorrow. Also fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off Odisha coast and north bay of Bengal from 18th may onwards. Those who are out of sea are advised to return to the coast by 17th May.
