Fishing ban from April 15 : The State government issued orders prohibiting fishing activities on the sea (in the territorial limits of A.P.) from a period of 61 days i.e. from April 15 to June 14 by all mechanised and motorised vessels fitted with inboard or outboard engines excluding non-motorised crafts as per the powers vested with it under Section 4 (2) of A.P. Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 1994.
