The Chennai Meteorological Center has advised fishermen not to go fishing for 3 days in the North and South Andhra seafarers. தென்கிழக்கு வங்கக்கடல் பகுதியில் நிலவிய குறைந்த காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வுப்பகுதி, குறைந்த காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு மண்டலமாக மாறி மசூலிப்பட்டினத்திற்கு தென்கிழக்கே 1,160 கிலோமீட்டர் தூரத்தில் நிலை கொண்டிருப்பதாகத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதன்காரணமாக அடுத்த இருதினங்களுக்கு தமிழகம் மற்றும் புதுவையில் ஓரிரு இடங்களில் மிதமான மழை பெய்ய வாய்ப்புள்ளதாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. சென்னையைப் பொறுத்தவரை நகரின் ஒருசில பகுதிகளில் லேசான மழைக்கு வாய்ப்புள்ளது. கடந்த 24 மணி நேரத்தில் அதிகபட்சமாக பழனி ஆயக்குடியில் 7 சென்டிமீட்டர் மழை பதிவாகியுள்ளது
