"High swell waves in the range of 2.0 - 2.1 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 22-10-2017 to 23:30 hours of 23-10-2017 along the coast of Southern Tamil Nadu from Kolachal to Kilakarai. Current speeds vary between 71 - 75 cm/sec. Strong winds from Southerly to Southwesterly direction speed occasionally reaching 45-55 KMPH likely along and off Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts. Fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea."
